COVID 19 Updates

COVID-19 UPDATE - 24/7/2020

From Thursday 23/7/2020, ALL PATIENTS entering our clinic are required to wear a mask which is to remain on at all times whilst in the clinic. NO MASK = NO ENTRY

We require all patients to be triaged on entry and use hand sanitiser when entering and leaving. Please be patient with our staff whilst triaging. Questions prior to entry are a requirement of entry and required to ensure our staff and patients are kept safe.

If you have had a COVID SWAB done and are still awaiting results - you are required to self-isolate at home until this result comes back negative. Please DO NOT make a face to face appointment or enter our clinic if you are awaiting a COVID swab result.

You can make a telehealth consult with one of our doctors if needed whilst awaiting results.

Patients who meet the following clinical criteria should be tested:

Fever OR chills in the absence of an alternative diagnosis that explains the clinical presentation OR

Acute respiratory infection that is characterised by
cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose or anosmia (loss of smell)

Please call Coronvirus Hotline on 1800 675 398 regarding further instruction and testing sites. We DO NOT test at Boronia Medical Centre.

If you require medical advice regarding the above, we can arrange a teleconsult with one of our doctors to assess you. If a face to face consult is required, this will be performed outside the clinic in our dedicated carpark and we ask you remain in your vehicle during the assessment.
